Hi, I have just joined the group as I am looking at getting a MT350 to do some riding around Herefordshire and some trips to Europe hopefully. Thanks all, regards Spud.

Welcome Spud. Have a browse around the forum and stick a post in the Wanted section.
Members have ridden MTs as far as Moscow and Morocco, with a few riding around the Pyrenees each year, as well as trips to Normandy and the WW1 battle sites.

Re: New Member
Hi
I have just acquired a 1988 Harris Matchless G80 Which has a Rotox 500 (kick start) engine. The machine has not been run in anger for several years and so I am in the process of recommissioning, and looking to source gather information from bikers with experience of the Rotox engine. I understand they require a bit of a knack to kick start.
I also have a 1946 Matchless G3L and a Honda VFR 800 Crossrunner. I keep the Honda in Mid Wales and if i can get to grips with starting the Rotax engine may at some point be looking for a MT500 or 350 to explore some of the trickier routes there.
The G80/Rotox is fitted with the Dellorto 36mm PHF Carb.
Any info would be appreciated.
Regards
Paul B

Hi Paul,
you'd get more response if you started a new thread. If you've also got a G3L Matchless you might be a member of the AJS & Matchless Owners Club? If so you can ask on their forum and access thier technical section. Try this link : http://archives.jampot.dk/Technical/Har ... _parts.pdf
Cheers Dave.
