Those MT500 fork top rubbers

Post by nairb123 » Thu Jan 03, 2019 3:55 am

Well I was riding along as one does and I spent a fair amount of time looking at the state of those fork top rubbers (mt500). The ones that can be pulled off to reveal ... erm I have forgot. Anyway they are a fair bit perished.
So does anybody know if there is a supplier with a secret, or not so, stash of these rubbers. I bet the ones on the bike are the originals and have split a bit and were painted sand colour at some point. Other than that it keeps running fine.

It's just a Schrader valve underneath for letting air out of the fork..

Use a fancy grenade dust cap or something similar!

Mine are blue ally dust caps!
