Last year Andrew tagged it onto the Llangollen bike fest which is next weekend. Being that close we can assume nothing's happening.
Would anyone like to volunteer?
We've got the maps, why not just arrange to meet at a campsite back at it's traditional date of the first weekend in September?

If I suggest that we book into the Carrog Station Campsite on Friday 14th September, is anyone else up for it???
This is the same site we went to 2 years ago when Paul had his stag do.

It looks like we've got enough provisional interest to make this a go-er.
So I suggest we book direct with the Carrog Station Campsite to arrive on 14th September. Ride out on Saturday 15th (to include the Wayfarer) Then bug out for home on the Sunday.
If you want to go, book direct at http://www.stationcampsite.com/
There is a pub just over the river for the evening meal.

See you there

Thats done. I'm booked in for Friday 14th & Saturday 15th September. Hopefully I won't be riding alone?
If it helps, the campsite phone number is 01490 430237.
Mention the MT Riders club and they'll put us all together.

Nearly missed this little thread. Maybe it should be moved into ride outs so it might get a little more noticed. Am interested just need to tweak a few things. What level of competence will be required as I have none

Monkey, please don't worry in the slightest about your competence. If anything looks too difficult we always arrange 'ride-arounds' if someone doesn't feel comfortable. Alternatively, a more competent rider will take your bike over the difficult bit.
Also, provided there are enough interested bodies, we usually split into 'expert' and 'gentler' routes because there may well be some lads that are on road tyres or don't want to risk any damage as they need to ride them home.
