First proper ride out on my (new) MT

Post by KEITH_HILL » Mon Dec 31, 2018 6:05 pm

Hi everyone,

After purchasing Adam Cooper’s MT this month I've had Gary at Sportax check it over and fit a Dellorto carb. It rides so great now! (thanks a lot Gary - it was great to hang out at your place and chat - top guy!)
Today I took it out for a 150 mile ride to see my good friend Barry at the Penmaenpool toll bridge, Wales. (right next to Barmouth) The bike road great and has plenty of power now.

These bikes really attract people to them! I've never had so many friendly conversations with people on one journey, some people just plain interested, some remember using them in the army and some people: "what so, Harley Davidson made these??"

I look forward to getting stuck into cleaning this bike up and ironing out the niggles :)

BTW, if you are in the Barmouth area on your MT (or whatever!) then be sure to take a ride over Barry's Bridge - It's 50p for a motorcycle.

Well done Keith,

Looks like you rounded the year off well! Glad we could help.

Looking more OEM at the back end too!

HNY!

The niggles are the price to pay for having fun, although they do like to be used and tend to give problems if parked up to long, so keep taking it out on the road :D :D

Nice looking bike. If I was closer I'd let Sportax loose on my MT

We get bikes and engines from all over Europe to repair! We get calls and emails for advice world wide and also post spares to all 4 corners of the planet!

We travel the UK and Europe supporting all sorts of meetings. Check out our events for 2019 on our website and see if we are visiting somewhere near you!

Maybe we should start an MT home visit repair service!
