Yes, it's that time of the year again, time for me to ride 1,000 miles in under 24hrs to raise money for the Poppy Appeal, this will be my fourth year.
I won't be doing it on the MT, but the Z1000SX.
Details here http://www.rblr1000.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I managed to finish 3rd last year in the pixxing rain, although it is NOT a race
Have decided to ride the South Anti Clock wise route this year, Leeds-Birch Services (m62)- Telford - Redruth - Southampton - Dover - Leeds.
And then to round things off another 190 mile ride home
Plan to start around 05:00 and get back around 17-18 hours later
The whole point is to raise money for the Royal British Legion, every penny I raise goes to them, all costs come out of my pocket.
If you wish to donate, you can do so here http://www.justgiving.com/Neil-Hagger" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's a great cause and even Ă‚ÂŁ1 will help.
