ADVICE PLEASE!!!

My chain snapped, must have been the original link. Anyway I found a spare link in my tool box but for love or money I cannot get the link plate or whatever it's called to fit the link pins (too wide or plate holes too narrow). I must admit I tried drilling the two holes a taj wider but my drill bits wouldn't touch it.

Not sure if it's the 102 or 104 but I bought the chain and sprocket set for the 350 from Sportax, no problems originally putting it together. Not sure what to order now.

I'll await your advice but will check out what links there are.

Cheers all.

Not all split links are the same. Different size ones for o ring and standard chains for a start. You need the split pin that matches your chain.

Hi Keith,

Yours would have been 102 links, I'll check what make it was and send you another link. Some chains have a choice in the kit of rivet link or split link. If you used the split link the circlip open end has to face backwards when on top of swing arm to prevent it being knocked off as it rotates..

Hope that helps..
