MT350 starter motor

Post by Ricky » Mon Sep 09, 2019 2:40 pm

I may need a starter motor if taking mine off and reconditioning it doesnt work.
Does anyone have one at a reasonable price ?

This would be quite a rare failure

Try the things I've mentioned in your other thread You could spend a lot of money but still not sort your problem

Even if your starter is not working with all electrical connections good, changing the brushes would be my first step before renewing the whole motor

exhaust will have to be removed and the last one i did the motor had coroded in the cassing and the end of the motor broke off and stayed in the cassing,so i would start soaking every yhing in WD40 including the exhaust studs not a easy job if nothings been removed for a while
