Apologies to all members

Post by Franc » Sat Feb 25, 2017 12:09 pm

I need to apologize to anyone who is selling stuff on EBay at present.
I believe someone who I'm having a problem with has accessed my account, and made offers and even bid on items.
My account has now been secured, and the problem should cease, but unfortunately the damage is done and some people are understandable upset.
It is not just MT related items that this has happened with, and the culprit has tried to focus on items that i would have a connection or interest in.
Please accept my deepest and sincere apologies to anyone who has been duped by the person who has been masquerading as me.
Looks like I may also have to change the locks in our house!

Yep, I thought I'd got rid of them, but subtle things suggest they are malicious, spiteful, and sly.
If I can gain enough evidence then I'm going to the police.

Hi Franc, try contacting www.actionfraud.police.uk they are a central point for reporting scams, cyber fraud etc. they can take it on or just advise as to what actions you can take. Hope this is helpful.

Thankyou Priest, unfortunately this is more of a petty problem designed to cause me agro than a malicious attempt to steal money or items.
They haven't actually spent my money, or received items. Just caused me embarrassment.
Problem has been dealt with now, hopefully once and for all.
