boil it in a pan .make sure the water covers the joint. boil for a few hours. time depends on joint size . an hour/hour and half for small 3 hrs for larger. you will now have boiled ham. if you prefere you can now remove rind ,cover with honey ,syrup etc your choice and roast till it looks like its done. put the rind in with the joint and you will have crackling too.
