It really throws out some heat too, nice to sit and enjoy the wine I'm still drinking from the Pyrenees

Looks good.

If you went into one of those trendy home stores you'll be walking out with Ă‚ÂŁ200 less for one of those. Very stylish. Ideal for Father's Day present. Where do we place our orders?

Just in the interests of safety ----

It hardly needs saying , but will say it anyway because we don't want anyone getting hurt , but cutting open a gas bottle , even an empty one, can cause a potentially fatal explosion to yourself and those around you - so please don't try this at home !

It is an expert job to be done by those who are fully competent to do it

(we have younger members and maybe some who don't appreciate the risks - so you will understand why the health warning )

Thank you

ps- Nice job Ady

Yes this needs to be done by a responsible and competent person - don't know why I had a go!

Seriously...IF your'e going to have a go - remember the gas is heavier than air (I stood my cylinder upside down for a week with the valve off)

bloody brilliant, well done,
might not be such a great idea cutting the bottle with an angle grinder first. i think i would drill a hole and fill the cylinder with water or something just to be sure i didn't change post codes,, before taking the grinder to it,
still brill tho

nice one Ady looks good ,like Houndog said could go with a bang when cutting ,reminds me of welding a petrol tank that went with a bang ,it used to hold 3 gallon after the bang it would hold 4 gallon

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
