I have just been admitted to hospital for deep vein thrombosis, and have a lot of blood clots in the thigh and groin. The specialists don't work weekends, so they are going to remove them in the next day or so.
That shouldn't take them very long, you've only got little legs. ;)

I am a bit gutted about not being able to ride as I have not been on the the bike much this year due to concentrating on road and MTB races and was looking forward to it. I broke my hand in July so its not been a great summer!!!

I am still booked in at the campsite so am going to see if I can persuade Jeannette to have a weekend in Wales........

Luckily, my old mate Mick is going to make me a spare leg just in case. He's using a 500 fronk fork and a side stand. That's what's so good about this club. We look out for each other

And thank you all for your kind thoughts. Well, Steve & Eric. I've been told it could be 3or4 days till I get a slot. It's like an asylum at night, and the sneak in at 1am to check your blood pressure. Well, that's what the nurse said when I awoke Her hovering over me. Scared the crap out of me!! Good job I haven't got a dicky ticker...
