Re: Newbie

Welcome to the forum

When HD bought out Armstrong, they couldn't bring themselves to produce replacement panels bearing the Armstrong name. So your panels are replacements

Re: Introduction

03EB04 was the first Chieftain I had with a Sundance engine. Lovely think. Was the heavy armour trials officer for CR1 and did the release for production for CR2 :) Thats when I played on all the MT500's competition and crashed an MT500 side car at Goodwood. We do have a member Arceye, who used to ...

Sorry Steve
The bike is not registered so no V5.
Large no of parts would mot fit in Landrover.
Looking for offers over £2000 for everything I have.

I believe I have £4K worth of parts.
Post in the Sales section, no V5, if you had an MOD release document it could be registered

Re: What have you done to your MT today ? contd

MT-500. Replaced long buggered kick start swivel and returned bike to service. MoT and service, easy pass, surprisingly cheap. Tax, insure, clunk. Won't come out of gear, neutral is a mystery. Started last week in the shed with the clutch in, no worries. Booked into the workshop today; will is star...

If you're lucky , a new top pulley is all you need. If the belt has been over tightened the top bearing wears...

Re: Introduction

Tom and Gary, it is best to start a new thread rather than jump onto another person's. It avoids a lot of confusion As for the MT500 selection, there's a forum post with a copy of the MOD evaluation of three bikes The problems reporter with the Suzuki bid were, battery exposed, rear wheel removal di...
