Re: Front wheel.

Thanks for the offer, been looking for a 350 front end since I got the bike and not seen one, or too much at the time. Which is the problem this month. Was really thinking out loud about how it could be done without the expense, all I would need was a 350 wheel, which seems to be rare. The MT500 fr...

Re: Front wheel.

Will the disk front wheel from a 350 go into the older forks? Wheel spindle size? Tyre size? Ofset? Ext. Asking as have seen a interesting disk conversation ( wasn't on a MT) but need a disk wheel and wonted to know if a 350 one would go on without difficulty. I believe you have an MT500 and the pr...

Re: Re;MT604 on Ebay

I suspect this started life as an H-D MT500E and for some reason the VIN plate has been replaced and the first 8 digits left off.

Re: introductory post

Hi All. I foolishly had a go on a friend's MT500 last week and now find myself off to purchase one tomorrow. I obviously don't actually need one in my life but after convincing my wife it's an investment followed up by a few 'we're a long time dead', 'if i don't do it now I never will' phrases here...

Re: MT500's in use by the UK Post Office?

Re the NI 'Reds', I'll contact CCM and see what they say (and post the answer here). Again, thanks for the heads-up. https://i.postimg.cc/y3BTGLBg/IMG-8700.jpg I contacted CCM regarding a civilian MT500 I have and they replied that they had no records of what was produced during the Armstrong-CCM 1...

 can anyone tell me what oil to put in what don’t make the clutch slip🤷‍♂️
It should be JASO-MA rated engine oil, normally mineral or semi-synthetic - that oil is designed for motorcycles with wet clutches.

Re: Paint colour to match HD plastics

The H-D used a US paint code originally - FS34094 if memory serves correctly. However, if you've got the colour you want already on the plastics, the easiest way forward is simply to take a sample and get it matched at a paint shop.

Re: MT500's in use by the UK Post Office?

The VIN number will tell you whether it's an MT and hence army or CV and a civilian version. If MT then probably not Post Office or Fire Service!
