Re: motorcycle cover mt500

I use a Oxford one, seems to be standing up to the wind and rain ok. You need to measure the bike, as they com in different sizes, the one I have has a shape to cover the top box. It was about £25.

Re: What have you done to your MT today ? contd

Changed the fork oil and put some air in suspension, front and back. Feels better.
The oil that came out was red, reminded me of when I was a poor youth and used 2 stroke oil in my forks as it was cheeper.

What bulbs

Looking to have some spare bulbs for the 500, or at least a list of what they are. The manual doesn't seem to tell you what they are, so anyone know what the bulb code numbers are so I can walk into a shop and get the correct ones. Think the headlight is ab20.

Re: Insurance - Is it me?

Used BeMoto, not the cheapest quote but the excess was way lower than the other companies, £1000 excess plus£350 mandatory excess for the Ducati ST and the MT was way too much, even if it was £20 cheeper. But really you only find out how good they are when it all goes wrong.

Hello

Thanks for letting me join, my MT500 is a standard looking old girl that I've just got back on the road after getting her a couple of months ago. I'm based in Shardlow and hoping to find some lanes to wander down. Also have a Ducati ST2 for the slightly faster roads.
