Re: Latest acuisition

Your back will thank you in the long run.
They make working on a bike a breeze.
I couldnt work on the bike in my old age and bad back without it now.

Ive also made a wooden top to go on mine if i want to do some woodwork or non oily work.

Re: Motorbike on narrowboat

Some of the boats that have been modified for wheelchairs have a section of the bow sides next to the front cabin turned into a low door. They swing out and a ramp is laid across to the bank. If the narrow boat had a decent length of deck before the cabin like a tug it would work well. But it would ...

Re: May have to give up the mt500

If you then factor in the arthritis in hips and back it would take me years even with the my bike bench to get it to working height. And it would be crimin...

Re: May have to give up the mt500

I only ride when I'm able and fit enough with the me/cfs.
Its the back problems and kick start that stop me.

May have to give up the mt500

Its looking more like im going to have to give up the mt500. After an MRI scan seems ive got arthritis in my back and hips. I havnt used it enough in the last few years due to my ME/CFS and this looks like the tipping point. I cant reliably kick it over with the state of my back and because im not u...
