just looking at that and I don't think it would take much to turn it into a bead breaker and with a bit more effort have the ability to remove/fit tyres.

I like it, was it new or second hand? It's the sort of thing I would like to get. could you stick up model/supply details?

Cheers Pete

It was new. Its a Sealey YC10B. I got it from Cyclomarket in Corby for Ă‚ÂŁ188 plus VAT.

A bead breaker would be a good idea.

The reason I went for this type in the is the C Shape allows you to get much more awkward shaped items into it and it does not take up the space on the bench of a conventional frame type press. The hydraulics and ram are also easily removable to you can use them on other things. I am just building an engine lift that will use the ram to raise it.

Mr Shiney wrote:Well my toy finally arrived and is already being put to good use. It makes a doddle of removing the steering stem bolt and bearing from the yoke and using a prototype tool that George has made for me it is even easier to put the bearing back on!!

It bends 5mm over a short length with ease. For making MT bits like a side stand mount and battery box for an MT500 its been great!!

Well worth every penny.

A few pictures of the current workspace set up!
