dont do the dummy camera......they know them a mile off.

costco do a stand alone infa red wildlife camera. they are around Ă‚ÂŁ100 each however I have seen them on sale for half price. very good picture and motion activated.
could be used in conjunction with a hardwired system to cover those tricky spots.

you could always get a monster of a dog.

Maplin had some good deals recently and the picture quality seemed good, also CPC / Farnell as mentioned above do some reasonable stuff. Hard Wired is better if you can.

Most electrical wholesalers do CCTV kits. The only advice I have been given is not go wireless.
