How-do
Got a 350 earlier this year - flat battery but otherwise all good, hoping to use as transport to/from work and general pottering about the Island

Welcome to the forum
MT350s EAT batteries in my experience! You have a kick start and it's worth practicing with that just in case...

Keep on top of maintenance and your bike will serve you well

Is there a knack to the kick?
Tried earlier and think I'm gonna end up with a broken shin!

Yes, the first thing is to have the cambelt set up correctly, a clean carb, good spark plug,
Second , line up the timing mark,
Third, be lucky !

I've had a 350 fire up when I was merely turning it over prior to pressing the button. The same bike a few days later flatly refuse to start on the kick but fire up with no problem on the button.
